Our Fourth of July Weekend
So, we had a bad July 3rd.
But we dragged ourselves out into the sunshine on July 4th for some hot summer fun.

Above: Julia snubbs authority.

Above: the lure of the sprinklers is too much, even fully clothed.

Above: now nice and cool.
Later that day...

Above: Hey Julia! Are you ready to swim in the Clock Tower Pond along the Greenbelt?

Above: that's affirmative!

Above: Travis and Julia take the plunge.

Above: over and over and over and...

Above: Julia with something pale and beastly lurking behind her.
Above: Oh. It's just Dad.

Above: yes, I'm a dud. Not much of a swimming kind of person. If you can't see without glasses, you'd understand.

Above: peek!

Above: Porters in action.

Above: Travis and Julia enjoying the pond.

Above: the tag-along bike is a GREAT invention.

Above: crossing the Boise River on a former railroad bridge.

Above: 15 minutes after I hung up my new bird feeder.

Above: 24 hours later. See the big hole he chewed? And I once thought squirrels were cute and charming.
The end.
