Today Jefferson Elementary had a Veteran's Day Program and Grandpa (a Marine), Grandma, Travis, and I went to watch. Many teary eyes in the house (including mine). Julia was really hoping for Grandpa to come, and now we know why: all vets got a flower. After the program, Grandpa gave Julia his Marines Good Conduct Medal for her to keep. Good day.
