The Porters Hit the Bay in a Big Way!
San Francisco, CA

The Porters in Boise have been spotted all over the Bay area over the holidays. They seemed to have quickly disregarded their intent to keep a low profile during Christmas and have been lighting up a town that already has plenty of electricity.

Recent stops included a "Behind the Scenes" tour of Alcatraz - not an option for the general public - including a tour of the famed, and rarely visited, lighthouse. It seems that even the country's most notorious former prison couldn't contain the out-and-about Porters. Other stops included many rides Trolley rides with longtime friend and chance reaquaintence Keith Richards, Christmas in the city (again with Richards), a walking tour of Haight street and Golden Gate Park (yet again with Richards).

Most recently, the Porters have been sighted touring Sausalito and yet another closed to the public tour of the Point Bonita lighthouse which knocks on the doorway to the Pacific Ocean. The tour was followed by a jaunt through the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and a day in the city (during which the Porters finally shed themselves of Richards while the Rolling Stones guitarist was purchasing a set of Jasper Johns oven mits in the SFMOMA gift shop).

Reportedly, the Porters will spend their last day in the city by touring the Exploratorium, doing some window shopping, and a night spent reflecting their glorious holidays watching the Nick Cage and Sean Connery in "The Rock".
